About Swatara State Park

Eight miles of Swatara Creek run through this 3,520-acre tract, which spans land in both Lebanon and Schuylkill counties across several townships. The terrain sits in a valley between Second Mountain and Blue Mountain, part of the ridge and valley landscape typical of this stretch of Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania Route 443 marks the northern edge of the park while Interstate 81 runs along its southern side.
