A gravel road connects this 8-acre tract to R. B. Winter State Park on Route 192 and to Eastville on Route 880, placing it in a remote stretch of forest with no direct paved approach. During winter months the park can only be reached by snowmobile or cross-country skis, since the road is not maintained for vehicles. At just 8 acres, it ranks among the smallest state parks in Pennsylvania.
