About Chickasaw State Park
Lake Placid and Lake Lajoie sit within the park's 1,280 acres, which are surrounded by a much larger 14,384-acre state forest. The grounds include some of the highest ground found in West Tennessee, giving the area more elevation change than much of the surrounding region. Together the two lakes and the forested terrain make up the core of the park's landscape.
