About Natchez Trace State Park
Woodland trails and a network of waterways spread across more than 48,000 acres, land that took its name from the historic Natchez Trace trail once used by travelers moving through the wilderness in the late 1700s and early 1800s. The park offers camping, horseback riding, and activities along its waterfront, giving visitors several ways to spend time on the land beyond simply walking its paths.
