About Klickitat State Park Trail

Thirty-one miles of former railroad grade run alongside the Klickitat River through the Columbia River Gorge, open to hikers and cyclists along the full length. The corridor once carried trains between Lyle and Goldendale, and the route now offers views of the river and the canyon it cuts through. Travelers can cover as much or as little of the 31 miles as they choose, following the water the whole way.
