About Devil's Den State Park
An 8-acre lake built by the Civilian Conservation Corps sits at the center of this 2,200-acre park in the Lee Creek Valley, part of the Boston Mountains within the Ozarks. The CCC also constructed the park's original amenities starting in 1933, and trails now cover hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. Coral and crinoid fossils can be found along the banks and bed of Lee Creek, and the grounds include picnic areas, a swimming pool, cabins, and camping ranging from modern sites to primitive.
