About Cherokee Landing State Park

A peninsula reaching into Lake Tenkiller within the Cookson Hills forms the setting for this 146-acre park. The site protects lake shoreline used for boating, water skiing, swimming, and fishing, with a lighted boat ramp and a handicapped-accessible fishing dock among the facilities. Campers can choose between 93 RV sites with electric and water hookups or 45 primitive sites, and the grounds also hold covered picnic shelters, playgrounds, and a softball field.
