About Natural Falls State Park
120 acres of Ozark land make up this park, centered on a waterfall once known as Dripping Springs before the state purchased the property in 1990. Before that sale, private owners ran it as a roadside attraction along the highway, complete with a swimming pool and gardens for travelers passing through. The grounds also appeared in the 1974 film Where the Red Fern Grows.
