About Marsh Creek State Park

A stone house built for John Marsh, a 19th century doctor and rancher who was the first non-Hispanic European to settle in the area, stands on the grounds along with ranching buildings and sites of pre-historic archaeological interest. The property takes its name from the creek that runs through it, itself named after Marsh. As of the source material, the park has not opened to the public.
