Talcott Mountain forms the backbone of this 787-acre park, which sits at the north end of Talcott Mountain State Park and shares a boundary with it. The land is managed by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. The park lies within the town of Bloomfield, on the same mountain ridge that continues south into the adjoining state park land.
