About Fenwick Island State Park

A narrow spit of sand separates the Atlantic Ocean from Little Assawoman Bay, and this 375-acre park occupies that strip between Ocean City, Maryland and South Bethany, Delaware. It was carved out of the former Delaware Seashore State Park and given its current name in 1981, fifteen years after it was first established. Unlike the built-up beach towns on either side of it, the land here has been left largely without development.

Hours, fees, camping, reservations and closures are set by the park and change often. Check the official park site before you go.
