About Bellevue State Park

Two separate tracts make up this 788-acre park along the Mississippi River bluffs. The Nelson Unit sits atop a 300-foot limestone bluff at the edge of Bellevue, while the Dyas Unit lies two miles farther south. Timbered walking trails cross the grounds, along with a butterfly sanctuary and an enclosed nature center, and both units offer views of the river below.
