About Rice Lake State Park
15 acres of land along the south shore of Rice Lake make up this park, which gives anglers and boaters access to the water. Bass, bluegill, yellow perch, and walleye live in the lake, and migratory birds passing through draw birdwatchers to the shoreline. A stone picnic shelter built in 1934 by the Civilian Conservation Corps still stands on the grounds.
