The northwest shore of Lake St. George anchors this 358 acre park, giving access to a 1,017 acre lake stocked with landlocked salmon and brook trout. Visitors can swim under lifeguard supervision, paddle a canoe, run a motorized boat, fish, camp, or picnic along the shoreline. The Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry manages the property, which sits in the town of Liberty rather than Palermo itself.
