About Peacock Beach State Park

Pleasant Pond fronts this recreation area, giving swimmers and picnickers a place to spend the day along the water. The Town of Richmond has run the site since 2010, managing it as a local public space along U.S. Route 201 south of Augusta, between the Maine Turnpike and I-295. Facilities here are limited to picnicking and swimming, with no other stated attractions.
