About Palmer State Park
Deer Creek runs through this forested tract, formed from a 463-acre gift by Gerald and Ruth Palmer. The land carries traces of past industry, including remnants of the Husband Flint Mill and the Deer Creek Iron Works. Visitors can canoe and fish on the creek or walk the wooded trails that cover the property.
