About Susquehanna State Park

The lower Susquehanna River forms the eastern edge of this park, with the main grounds sitting on the west bank and additional holdings reaching onto river islands and the opposite shore. Fishing and boating access take advantage of the river itself, while land-based visitors have trails set aside for both hiking and horseback riding. Camping is also offered on the grounds. The park is administered jointly with Rocks State Park and Palmer State Park under Maryland's Department of Natural Resources.
