Willowdale Mansion, the restored home of former estate owner and attorney Bradley Palmer, still stands on the grounds and now operates as an event venue called Willowdale Estate. The surrounding 736 acres span the towns of Hamilton and Topsfield and include a wide network of multi-use trails. The Ipswich River forms the northern border, alongside Willowdale State Forest, and the property is managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
