About Ellisville Harbor State Park

Coastal terrain along the western edge of Cape Cod Bay was set aside to keep its barrier beach, bog, salt marsh, and forest of red pine intact rather than developed. Rolling meadows lead toward the shoreline, where small fishing boats work the water and harbor seals appear offshore in the colder months. The bog draws migrating birds that stop to feed or nest, and the property is overseen by the state's Department of Conservation and Recreation.
