About Demarest Lloyd State Park

200 acres of shoreline along Buzzards Bay make up this park, taking in an ocean beach as well as marshland near where the Slocums River meets the bay. The land sits in Dartmouth and is overseen by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. Both the beach and the marsh give visitors a sense of how the coast and the river mouth meet in this part of the bay.
