107 acres of heavily forested land along Lake Huron make up this park, including a mile-long sandy beach on the shoreline off U.S. Route 23. Birders consider it an important stop, since it draws large and varied migratory populations of warblers and other songbirds. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources administers the site.
