About Hart-Montague Trail State Park

A converted railroad corridor forms the spine of this park, running as a paved bicycle trail between the cities of Hart and Montague. Because it follows a former Chicago & West Michigan railroad right of way, the grade stays very low and the ride is easy along its length. In winter, the same corridor draws snowmobile traffic, giving the trail a second use once the season changes.
