About Silver Lake State Park
Sand dunes cover more than 2,000 of the park's 2,936 acres, stretching between the shorelines of Lake Michigan and Silver Lake. The grounds hold a mix of mature forest and open dune land, along with the Little Sable Point Light standing on the property. Part of the dune area is set aside for off-road vehicle driving, letting visitors drive directly on the sand.
