About Mears State Park

Fifty acres make up this recreation area, situated on the north side of the channel linking Lake Michigan to Pentwater Lake. The land sits within the village of Pentwater, giving access to the water passage connecting the two lakes. Its position along this narrow channel places it between the open lake and the smaller inland lake it feeds into.
