About Orchard Beach State Park

A bluff overlooking Lake Michigan forms the setting for this 201-acre recreation area in Manistee Township. The park offers camping and hiking trails along the shoreline, with paths that follow the rise of the land above the water. Scenic views over the lake are a stated feature of the grounds, which have been set aside as parkland since 1921.
