The north shore of Higgins Lake gives way to 449 acres of land that once served as one of the world's largest seedling nurseries. That history of large-scale tree propagation sits behind the shoreline setting in Beaver Creek Township, where the water and the former nursery grounds occupy the same tract. The lake frontage and the site's past as a growing operation are the two things visitors can expect to find here.
