About South Higgins Lake State Park
A mile of shoreline along Higgins Lake anchors this 1,364 acre property, which also wraps entirely around the smaller Marl Lake and takes in stretches of the Cut River. The combination of a large lake frontage with a fully enclosed second lake and a river segment gives visitors more than one kind of water to explore within the same boundary. The park has operated in this location since 1927.
