About Warren Dunes State Park
Sand dunes rise above the beaches along Lake Michigan's eastern shore, forming the core of this 1,500-acre recreation area. The park protects this stretch of lakefront and dune terrain, drawing visitors to its sandy shoreline. Its scale and setting on the lake have made it one of the more heavily visited state parks in Michigan.
