About Forest Lake State Park
Dating to 1935, the park spans 397 acres around Forest Lake in Dalton, land set aside to give the public access to the water. A 200-foot sandy beach lines the shore, and visitors use the grounds for swimming, picnicking, mountain biking, fishing, and boating. The park operates year-round.
