About Bedell Bridge State Park
A covered bridge once crossed the Connecticut River here before it collapsed, and the site now preserves that memory as a historic park along the riverbank. The 74-acre grounds sit on the water's edge, with a Fish and Game boat launch giving access for non-motorized boating and fishing. Walking paths and picnic areas round out the grounds, and the park stays open throughout the year.
