About Boulder Beach State Park
A sand beach lines the western shore of Lake Groton, giving swimmers and paddlers direct access to the water. The park sits inside Groton State Forest, within reach of the Groton Nature Center and neighboring Big Deer and Stillwater State Parks. It protects a stretch of lakeshore set among the surrounding forest land rather than standing as an isolated tract.
