About Pike Lake State Park
Civilian Conservation Corps crews built the site in the 1930s, more than a decade before it became a state park. What resulted is a small lake set among wooded hills, bordered by state forest, with a campground and cabins on the grounds. The lake itself remains the central feature, ringed by the forested terrain the corps worked to shape.
