About Sequoyah Bay State Park

Five campgrounds sit along the western shore of Fort Gibson Lake, each named for a notable chief of the Five Civilized Tribes: Attacullaculla of the Cherokee, Pushmataha of the Choctaw, Osceola of the Seminole, Opothleyahola of the Creek, and Payamataha of the Chickasaw. The park lies on State Highway 16, giving visitors direct lake access along that stretch of shoreline.
