About Sequoyah State Park
2,200 acres of peninsula land make up this recreation area on the eastern shore of Fort Gibson Lake. A shortleaf pine-lined drive connects camping loops, a marina, a golf course, a nature center, riding stables, and the state's largest state park lodge. Twelve miles of hiking trails, including the Fossil Trail, Bluebird Trail, and Scissortail Paved Trail, are open to the public at no charge.
