About Lake Eufaula State Park
Waters of Lake Eufaula stretch across 2,853 acres of parkland set aside in 1965, when this tract and the neighboring grounds were established together as Fountainhead and Arrowhead State Parks. The two areas remain linked today, with the former Arrowhead land now managed as the Arrowhead Area within this park. The Fountainhead name was retired in 2002 in favor of the lake it borders.
