About Caledonia State Park
A reconstructed iron furnace stands as the namesake feature, tied to an operation once owned by Thaddeus Stevens starting in 1837. The land spans 1,125 acres and crosses into Adams County as well, giving it a footprint beyond the boundary named on this page. Beyond the furnace site, visitors find the Totem Pole Playhouse, a summer stock theater operating within the park grounds.
