About Little Buffalo State Park

A covered bridge and a restored, operating grist mill anchor the historical side of this 923-acre park, giving visitors a working link to the area's past. Holman Lake draws anglers as a popular fishing spot within its boundaries, while several hundred acres are set aside for hunting. The grounds sit in Centre and Juniata Townships, a mile southwest of Newport off Pennsylvania Route 34.
