About Poe Valley State Park

Poe Lake, a 25-acre body of water, sits at the center of this 620-acre tract surrounded on all sides by Bald Eagle State Forest. The park occupies an isolated stretch of Poe Valley, between Potters Mills and Millheim, with Poe Paddy State Park lying four miles to the east. The lake was drained for dam repairs during the 2008 and 2009 seasons, when facilities were also upgraded.
