About Ricketts Glen State Park

Twenty-four named waterfalls line Kitchen Creek as it drops off the Allegheny Front escarpment, cutting through a stand of old-growth forest that has earned the site recognition as a National Natural Landmark. The land covers 13,193 acres and stretches beyond its main county into two neighboring ones, taking in Columbia and Sullivan counties as well. Roads 118 and 487 both run near the grounds, close to the borough of Benton, and the terrain spans five separate townships.
