About Trough Creek State Park

Bald eagle numbers have climbed at the adjacent lake, growing from just two spotted in 1990 to fourteen counted in January 2007. Spanning 554 acres across Cass, Penn and Todd Townships, the park borders Rothrock State Forest and the Raystown Lake National Recreation Area, and most of its land lies in Todd Township along Route 994 east of Entriken. Together these connected state and federal lands offer hunting, hiking, and fishing.
