About Bledsoe Creek State Park

169 acres of land along the west shore of the Bledsoe Creek embayment make up this park, bordering Old Hickory Lake, a reservoir formed on the Cumberland River. The lake itself dates to 1954, when the Army Corps of Engineers completed Old Hickory Dam. The park is managed by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation.
