About Pickett Civilian Conservation Corps Memorial State Park

Caves, natural bridges, and other rock formations make up much of this wilderness in the upper Cumberland Mountains. The property spans 19,200 acres, though only about 1,000 of those acres are managed as the state park itself, with the rest kept as state forest under the Tennessee Division of Forestry. It borders the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area, connecting its wooded and rocky terrain to that larger protected landscape.
