About Rock Island State Park

Named for a community that itself took its name from an island in the Caney Fork upstream of the Collins River confluence and Great Falls Dam, this park spans a peninsula formed where those two rivers meet. It extends downstream to the headwaters of Center Hill Lake. The park lies across both Warren and White counties, giving it a footprint tied directly to the river junction it surrounds.
