1,847 acres make up this park, land donated in 1985 by Eileen Crain Sullivan for development as a public park, which opened in 2001. It sits near the original Fort Boggy site, a palisade fort built by settlers in 1840 for protection against local Indian raids. The name comes from the park's closeness to Boggy Creek.
