About Brooks Memorial State Park
Ponderosa pine forest covers most of this 682-acre tract in the southern Cascade Mountains, threaded by a prong of the Little Klickitat River. Nine miles of trails serve hikers and equestrians through the woods, and the grounds hold an environmental learning center called the Brooks Memorial Retreat Center along with a disc golf course laid out among the trees in 2017. Camping, picnicking, and wildlife viewing round out what the property offers.
