About Columbia Plateau State Park Trail

A 130-mile corridor stretches across eastern Washington along a former railway grade, wide enough at 20 feet to accommodate walkers and cyclists following the old line. The route occupies the abandoned right-of-way of the Spokane, Portland and Seattle Railway, converted into a trail managed within the state park system. Its length places it among the longer rail corridors preserved for public use in the state.
