About Crowley's Ridge State Park
291 acres sit atop Crowley's Ridge, on land that was once the homesite of pioneer Benjamin Crowley. The grounds hold structures built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, and the park is split by Crowley's Ridge Parkway, a National Scenic Byway. It was set aside as a state park to mark Crowley's legacy and the history of the ridge area.
