About Village Creek State Park

A legislative study aimed at establishing a large park in eastern Arkansas led to the creation of this 6,909-acre site, which spans both Cross and St. Francis counties. Segments of the Old Military Road cross the grounds, a route later traveled during the Trail of Tears. Two lakes sit within the park boundaries, along with a golf course of 27 holes.
