About Eagle Landing State Park

A dock along the Connecticut River's west bank serves a private concessionnaire that runs river excursions, giving visitors a way onto the water without their own boat. The grounds cover 16 acres and include space for picnicking, fishing, bird watching and car-top boating. It sits in Haddam rather than East Haddam itself, on the opposite shore of the river from the town it neighbors.
