About Selden Neck State Park

The Connecticut River surrounds this 607-acre island, which forms the entire park and can only be reached by boat. Four riverside areas allow primitive camping, and the island also offers hiking, fishing, and hunting grounds. Land purchases here in 1917 marked one of the state's earliest efforts to acquire property for park use.
